Having arrived in the UK in 2005, he first attempted to bring his vision to life in 2008. However, with the financial crisis looming, starting a pizza restaurant was out of reach. Andy worked tirelessly, saving every penny, and in 2017, K2 Pizza was born.
K2 Pizza quickly became a local favourite, known for its handcrafted pizzas made from scratch. Using a dough recipe passed down from Andy’s grandfather—who learned the technique from Italian soldiers during World War II—K2 Pizza delivered an unmatched taste. By 2022, the restaurant had served over 5,000 happy customers, proving that Slough was ready for world-class pizza.
Andy’s commitment to quality didn’t go unnoticed. Sourcing the finest ingredients directly from Europe, K2 Pizza was crowned the Best Pizza Restaurant by Restaurant Guru. With three consecutive wins (2022, 2023, and 2024), K2 Pizza’s reputation extended beyond the UK, attracting food lovers from across Europe.
